A few days ago, I gave a talk about WoW at the 23rd Chaos Communications Congress.

A few mistakes I noticed.

The first set of gear I show is Magister's not Arcanist. I refer to Darg as a "Foreman from Australia" which I don't think is accurate, but I couldn't think of something short at the time. The paper I refer to by John Seely Brown is co-authored by Douglas Thomas. And I'm sure there are various other mistakes.

I've uploaded a 239M http://dav.ito.com/23C3WoW.mov and a 94M http://dav.ito.com/23C3WoW-M.mov mp4 .mov file to my server. I'm on some weird Hotel ISP that is giving me trouble uploading to Google Video and Blip.tv. I'll try to get it up in a friendly format when I get home or something.

I've fixed the description (twice).

The second rev isn't live yet, but apparently GOOG doesn't allow html in the description.

So I've removed the blockquotes and such and replaced with // and /* */ comments.

The one live at this moment doesn't have the blockquote closed. WTF NOOB.

It was like 3am. Whatcha want.

Its fixed now and will right itself in a few shakes :)

Haha, I caught that instance planning station I made on Kula in the video, that's awesome! I'm watching the Google Video version now. Great talk so far, and it makes me want to try harder for 60 :). I also watched Lessig's talk last night, which was amazing.

As with ALL WoW related stuff the Horde side was largely negected. Oh the trollality.

Also, I had limited time so wasn't sure whether it was worth the effort to spend time explaining how the faction stuff worked as a trade-off of not explaining something else.

I keep sitting on people for 43 mins at work and forcing them to watch it.
