hey haller, i noticed you have pets with you in the jungle.
what are the special care requirements for small pets? are there like large jungle animals that prey on domestic animals?
sorry if this is an ignorant question but the only people i know in costa rica live in san jose which i presume is a little more urban.intolerant, arrogant, selfish, and self-righteous -

hmm, i pretty much just give the cat food, and it keeps him going. san jose is definitely more urban than where i live.
the cat mainly needs to look out for dogs. i think he can handle snakes, and he is scared of the numerous chickens that run wild in the neighborhood. he is luckily not stupid, and hasn't tried eating one of the neon green and black poison dart frogs, which would likely be his first and last frog dinner. -

That blog made me want to move there myself. I don't care much for modern creature comfort and this seems like a hell of a place to get away from all that. So envious now.I got a fever, and the only prescription...is more cowbell! -
